Our Life in Turkey
We bought our house in Turkey over a decade ago and I’ve been writing travel advice for the independent traveler to the Bodrum Peninsula ever since. I began by writing articles about buying a house in Turkey over on my personal travel blog Roving Jay. Then when I realized how difficult it was to find reliable information about exploring the Bodrum Peninsula I started this travel website to share the information and knowledge I’d accumulated.
Over the years I’ve been adding travel information, but as I spend extended periods of time in the area I’ve decided it’s time to add a more personalized slant on the content and share articles about our experiences of living in Turkey.
I hope you enjoy this addition to the website. I’m not sure what shape this new content is going to take … so hop onboard and let’s see where it takes us.
Turkey Breaks
Looking back on this blog, I realize that it’s been nearly a year since I updated the content. No, I didn’t lose interest in Turkey! A family death, a Workaway trip volunteering in France, and Covid-19 got in the way of our return to Turkey. But we’re back, and you can read about our return home in this article.
