Location of the Bus Station

The local dolmuş station that services the beach areas of Ortakent and Yahşi, is situated in the middle of the Yahşi stretch of the beach. Buses arrive and depart from a small square, where the main road ends and a small pedestrian path to the beach begins.

The bus office is right next door to a laundry service, and in the same pedestrian area are small bakkals and an internet cafe.

The current timetable is posted on the bus station office window.  One notice shows the first and last buses between Ortakent-Yahşi and Bodrum.

While the other timetable shows the details of every Yahşi to Bodrum departure on the left, and every Bodrum to Yahşi departure on the right.

This Summer timetable is dated 29th June 2012, and I took this photo at the end of September 2012. You’ll see that the frequency of buses between these two locations is every 7-20 minutes during most of the day.

You can have a wild night out in Bodrum, and there a buses back to Yahşi every half and hour from 1am to 5am in the morning.

A different, less frequent timetable, would be in effect during the winter months.
