As you’re traveling between Gündoğan and Türkbükü, you’ll see this small turn off and the sign for Farilya Stables and Farm. It’s not a very big road, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. The beginning of the road is tarmac, and you’ll pass a few houses, but then the tarmac road turns into an uneven dirt road, and you’re surrounded by trees.

I did begin to wonder if I’d taken a wrong turn, but just as doubts started to niggle at me, there was another small sign pointing the way to the Farm and Stables. Be careful when driving along here, as you may encounter riders on horseback, and you don’t want to spook the horses — or yourself! The entrance to the Farilya Stables looks like something out of an old cowboy film.

Once you’re through the gate, it’s only a short distance to reach the farm which has a couple of paddocks and stables.

When I arrived they were busy setting up for a big party. Long tables were being set out, and it was a hive of activity. So I wandered around the Farm, and found a trend-setting chicken – looking a little ruffled around the edges.
