Bodrum Airport Shuttles and Taxis

Private Shuttles and Bodrum Airport Taxis have had a monopoly on Airport transfers into Bodrum, because there’s no public dolmus transport that connects the Milas-Bodrum Airport to any town on the Bodrum Peninsula.

Bodrum Havaş Shuttle

Previously the only low budget transport was provided by the Havaş Shuttle which runs between Bodrum Airport and Bodrum Town, and the departure times are tied to the domestic arrivals and all of the Turkish Airlines arrivals. The Havaş is a privately owned company and their service currently runs at 10TL each way, and now picks up at the International terminal as well as the domestic.

Bodrum Airport Public Transport

But good news – finally there’s a Muğla Büyükşehir Bodrum Airport public transport alternative to get from Bodrum Airport to Bodrum town. Here’s a summary of the new service.

• Bus services Domestic and International Terminals
• It’s a timetabled public service
• Latest timetable posted September 2014 displayed the following timetable
  • Bodrum Bus Station to Airport Service
    • Starts at 6am and the last bus is at Midnight
    • Runs hourly
  • Airport to Bodrum Bus Station Service
    • Starts at 07:55am and last bus is at 01:15am
    • Runs at funky times (but about every hour-ish!)
• Cost = 7.50TL
