2012 BODRUM BALLET FESTIVAL Programme

The Bodrum Ballet festival has the reputation as being the first and only ballet festival in Turkey.  Bodrum Castle plays majestic host a mix of Turkish and International Acts each year spread over a 2 week period.  What better way to enjoy an evening of entertainment and culture, than taking your seat after sunset, to watch one of these performances.

11th August:

• The Sufferings of Young Werther: Istanbul State Opera and Ballet

14th – 15th August:

• Zorba the Greek: Izmir State Opera and Ballet (with Guest Irek Mukhamedov)

18th August:

• Harem:  Ankara State Opera and Ballet

21st August:

• Blood Wedding – Suite Flamenca: Compania Antonio Gades

24th August:

• A Midsummers Night Dream:  Ankara State Opera and Ballet Modern Dance Company
