Gumusluk Arch Turkey Hiking near Karakaya

Discovered on You Tube

While hiking around the mountains just north of Gümüşlük making balanced stone cairns, Algis stumbled upon this natural stone arch near Karakya. It is also a Mimetolith or Pareidolia of a giant Elephant according to one local resident.

It is really magical and awe inspiring and well worth the small trek to see it. Originally I named it “The Arch of Algis” Because I knew nothing about it and it cannot be seen from down on the road but now that I know it is known as the Elephant Arch maybe it should be named that….. Algis Kemezys

    1. The Havas timetable is driven by the Arrivals schedule of specific airlines: https://www.bodrumpeninsulatravelguide.co.uk/bodrum-airport-havas-shuttle-bus-transport/

There’s also a new Muttus bus service run by the local government which goes between the Airport and Bodrum:

There’s links on these article which will give you more information about the times on the day you’re arriving.

      thanks, Jay
