If you don’t want to rely on the dolmus service to get around the Bodrum Peninsula you can always opt for a taxi. It’s more expensive but they’re readily available. In Yalıkavak the two main places to get a taxi are at the Taxi Rank by the big Mosque and post office, and at the dolmus station. But there are other smaller taxi ranks around town (e.g. by the Marina).
