Bodrum Day Trip to coastal Çökertme

If you’re looking to explore a little bit further afield than the Bodrum Peninsula there are plenty of places within an easy 60-90 minute drive from central Bodrum. Earlier this week we decided to venture to the famous Çökertme. This bay backed by pine forests and olive groves and is a favorite mooring point for captains cruising along the Blue Cruise route.

Dirmil Köy Kahvaltısı in Gökçebel for Turkish Breakfast

I was in Gökçebel the other day so decided to try Dirmil Köy Kahvaltısı for the first time, and I wasn’t disappointed. As well as the usual Turkish breakfast dishes, my breakfast included hand baked bread and a selection of traditional turkish sides that made this breakfast special.
