Swim, Snorkel and Windsurf at Gümüşlük Beach

Plot up in front of one of the many restaurants or pensions that line the beach, and they’ll bring you food and drinks during your lounging hours. As the sunset drawers near, the loungers will get packed away and be replaced by tables and chairs on the beach. Don’t rush to leave – watching the sun slip slowing behind Rabbit Island, is enchanting.

Excavation of Rabbit Island, Gümüşlük

Rabbit Island is currently being excavated, and archeologists from the Uludağ Üniversity have discovered a huge ancient theatre that was constructed in the Hellenistic period, around 400 BC.
