Buying Organic Produce on the Bodrum Peninsula

Formerly a fresh organic food outlet at a tent in Bodrum’s Konacık district, Bodrum Organik has now taken up permanent quarters at a full-time shop in Bitez village.

Catering to the organic needs of the inhabitants of Bitez and its environs, Bihter Mutlu and Cem Mutlu’s shop, is fast becoming the go-to address for organic fruits and vegetables.

Organic Farming Enterprise

As well as settling into their permanent base in Bitez, they have secured the lease of 20,000 sq. meters of land in Gümüşlük to begin their own organic farming enterprise.  The Mutlu’s will begin to produce their own vegetables from New Year (2011) onwards.

Organic products are on sale six days a week, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (closed Sundays) at the Bodrum Organik shop in Bitez.
