Daily Boat Trip

Most of the coastal towns and villages have a small harbour and offer boat trips.  One of the most popular harbours is Bitez, and this is home to the Siesta Boat Trip.  If you’re looking for a quiet day on the Aegean, the aptly named Siesta is a perfect choice.

The Siesta is a traditional Turkish wooden sail/motor yacht, 13 metres carrying a maximum of 12 adults.

Large cushioned roof deck for sunbathing, cushioned front and back deck, and shaded dining area seating.

This boat is available for public and private cruises, with freshly cooked BBQ lunch, and vegetarian meals available with advanced request.

It’s fully licensed, insured and equipped with life jackets, the Siesta is safe, comfortable and secure.

Whenever possible, Captain Zarif will use his sails rather than firing up the motor, making a day on the Siesta a relaxing experience.

There is nothing like gliding over the sparkling blue Aegean without the distraction of a boat’s engine, while listening to mellow tunes, and sipping on a glass of wine or ice cold Efes (food is included in the cost of the boat trip, but the cost of drinks is based on consumption).

The Siesta is moored directly across from the Iskele Cafe in Bitez Harbour, and you can book in person, by arriving before 10am or after 6pm-ish.
